Code Your Dreams Courses
Students will complete data research projects, focused on social impact and community support, by using Python and Jupiter Notebooks. By working with education and refugee data sets as well as social media posts, students will learn the tools, algorithms, and skills needed to become data scientists alongside devising initial solutions to the world’s pressing issues. This holistic curriculum provides students exposure to various data applications, including regressions and Natural Language Processing, and teaches the importance of data science and ethical data management.
Target Audience: Students with some exposure to programming, who are comfortable with transitioning to/using text-based coding and are interested in the intersection of programming and statistics. For students with no computer science experience, it is recommended to begin with the Code Your Dreams app development curriculum.
